Amazing book! Since I started with Broken, it was easy to put most of the pieces together when reading Torn. The deep love Alec has for Adri is so romantic and the things he does are so sweet, it makes the book so interesting for those who like a bit of romance. I like the way action and romance is mixed and couldn't stop reading it/5. Urban Reflections looks at how places change, the role of planners in bringing about urban change, and the public's attitudes to that change. Drawing on geographical, cinematic and photographic readings, the book offers a fresh incisive story of urban change, one that evokes both real and imagined perspectives of places and planning, and questions what role and .

Urban Reflections has some unique qualities, the first of which is its multi-cultural nature. German photographer Willfried Raussert has captured lively photographs of various objects from American cities and incorporated them in the book. Indian poet Ketaki Datta uses those photographs to focus on an expression of those photographs.   Reaching the City appropriately expands on the changing demographics of missions today and adds essential thought, vision, and practice for diverse urban practitioners. Repeatedly throughout the sections, the authors emphasize the seminal year of when, for the first time in history, the world’s majority population lived in cities.

A new book ‘Urban Religion: A Historical Approach to Urban Growth and Religious Change’ is the title of the book that I have published a few weeks ago (de Gruyter, ). It is the attempt to reflect upon the state of the art and develop the recent concept of ‘urban religion’ into an instrument for historical research. Urban Plunge Reflections: What about the Poor in Our Own Backyard? by Fred J. Clark C.S. Lewis Institute Fellow: od Lays a Foundation for Serving the Poor During the summer of , my wife and I accompanied some two hundred high school students and chaperones on an annual McLean Bible Church mission trip to the Dominican Republic.
